Foot advice

Taking care of your feet keeps you feeling good and looking good. And its quite easy to do.

Washing and cleaning your feet every day keeps them fresh then make sure you dry them thoroughly with a towel in between the toes before putting shoes and socks on.

Moisturise the feet often, after a shower is best. A good moisturising routine can help keep the skin soft and supple. Try and keep the moisturiser away from between the toes.

When choosing socks make sure that they are cotton or have a high cotton content.

By having a regular foot care treatment you know your corns and callus are dealt with, any verrucas that you may have are spotted and dealt with and your nails are cut short then filed safely.

Ask about foot care routines.

Get professional foot care

A Chiropodist or Podiatrist spends 3 years studying their profession and their skills in which time they cover the whole human leg and its associated problems. A foot health practitioner spends their entire study on the foot alone and its relationship with the various body systems. A thorough understanding of the foots skeletal, muscular, nervous components, skin and lymph systems is used to diagnose and treat a range of problems that cause pain and hinder function. I would like to make clear that I am not a Podiatrist or Chiropodist but a foot health practitioner dedicated to making you as pain free and as functional as you can be. Call today to make an appointment or for a friendly chat about your requirements.
