The patient records are kept on an external hard drive which are removed every night so that in the event of a theft then the computer contains no personal information.

On the morning of your appointment your information is transferred from the computer to a blackberry along with the rest of the appointment for the day. The blackberry is password protected so that in the event of loss or theft then your information remains secure. At the end of the day after the last appointment then your information along with your updated patient records are then transferred back to the pc.

The office computer is backed up frequently and copies of patient records made. The backup is stored securely at a family members home so that your data can be recovered if need be.

Manchester foot care will only pass on your personal information if ordered to do so by a court of law or if requested by yourself to another medical professional.
