Urmston is where I have called home for the past eight years. Since moving here from Sale I have been made to feel very welcome by the residents and can hopefully repay some of that hospitality by taking care of the towns feet. My partner was brought up in Urmston and went to Flixton Girls School

Flixton is a very nice self contained village on the side of the Manchester ship canal. Its home to two of my favourite pubs and i enjoy a walk or cycle along the ship canal or a nip over to Irlam. Fishing the banks of the canal is very peaceful and a good way of relaxing after a hard day.

Davyhulme is my local neighbourhood i'm told. To tell the truth, I really don't know if I live in Urmston, Flixton or Davyhulme as various neighbours and friends all argue a different version of where the boundaries are.
